The Nou Mestalla will be a leading stadium in environmental sustainability
The design, by Fenwick Iribarren Architects, follows the principles of ‘green architecture’
Valencia CF have been strong at Mestalla so far in 2021. With their draw against Deportivo Alavés this past Saturday, the team remain undefeated in their 8 games played at home since the turn of the year, with 4 wins and 4 draws to their name. That has given them a total of 16 points from a possible 24 in the same period.
The most recent two draws have seen Valencia CF come back from behind. They fought back from 0-2 down against Real Sociedad with goals from Daniel Wass and Gabriel Paulista heading, and also leveled against Deportivo Alavés through an 89th minute strike from José Luis Gayà.
Mestalla will also be the venue for the next two LaLiga matches for Valencia CF. On Sunday, May 2nd at 9:00pm, they host FC Barcelona, followed by a game against Real Valladolid on Sunday, May 9th at 4:15pm CEST.
